The singer had to put several songs on hold before she was signed by the 'Capitol Record. She had become an accomplished singer and she hasn't looked back after. The next album, 'Teenage Dreams' was an instant hit among music lovers as well as one of the most popular albums in history. Katy Perry became a well-known performer after the release of this album. It broke many records. Perry's philanthropic efforts are not simply attributed to her song performer and writer as well as the many records she has recorded. Perry is a gay rights activist.
