Angela Sun

Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, CA on October 19, 1979. She is an American journalist and sportscaster. She is also a documentary film maker and television host. Angela Sun has been a Journalist, Sportscaster and Producer and actress since being born in Santa Clara County California on September 19. Her degree is in Sociology and Communication at the University of California. Sun had exceptional surfing skills and participated in several Pro-Am Surf competitions that led to sponsorship from large brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. It was the fame that she earned from participating in these events that propelled Sun into the realm of entertainment. Sun, in the future, went on to be a sportscaster actress investigative journalist and film director. Sun has been employed by a variety of channels, primarily as anchor. She was also the Fox Sports Net Correspondent. Her 2012 hosting duties included American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute from 2014 to 2015. Sun was the first Asian American to have her name featured on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun's acting skills have earned her notoriety. She's appeared in films like Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun was the one who penned and directed her documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch regarding the ocean's plastic pollution and its environmental effects in 2014, released the feature length film.
