Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games and she was the first gymnast to earn three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles lived within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her sister Adria had been adopted by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone became interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl when she took a field trip for day care in Bannon's Gymnastix and remained there for 11 years, under the guidance of her trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles took home a medal for vaulting, as well as a gold medal on the floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin participating in the elite level of the sport. Within two years she had won the discipline. Biles made headlines because of her unstoppable performance enthusiasm and level of challenge she made throughout each competition--vault bars that were uneven, balance beam and ground exercises.
